The first shipments of tall natural (un-dyed) Bicycle Wrap Skirts shipped out last week!!!
Yes, yes, and yes!!! You guys have been so patient -- I can't thank you enough!
The first batch of tall skirts shipped out this week; that is the tall sizes in natural (un-dyed). If you ordered leather hip pouches, Skirt Secures, or backpacks, we are putting the finishing touches on your packages and they will be going out this week.
News from Opportunity Threads is that they will be shipping out the remaining skirt sizes to us on Monday or Tuesday. We will begin shipping out the natural (un-dyed) skirts in the other sizes as soon as we get them. I am guessing either towards the end of the week or the beginning of next week.
We have also been preparing to dye skirts as soon as the other sizes arrive. Originally, I'd arranged to have them dyed in Charleston, but due to an opportunity that arose suddenly last month (a good one), Sea Island Indigo (our original dye partner) was unable to take on the project. Instead we've arranged to work with a mother-daughter team in Charlottesville, VA. They've been test dyeing these past few weeks, and I hope to have some photos of final samples for you soon. Many of you have asked for them already, but our charcoal color is a combination recipe of two dyes; and I wanted to wait until we had the mix just right before we photographed them.
So to clarify:
Only tall natural (un-dyed) skirts have shipped.
If your order shipped, you should have received an email about it.
I will post another update when the next batch ships out; when we receive the other sizes; and when we have photos of the finalized dye samples.
I know you are eager for your skirts - I am equally excited to get them out to you as soon as possible!
Happy Monday, everyone!
